Job Title: Business Systems Specialist

This role focuses on ensuring the seamless operation of IT applications, balancing business value with organizational alignment, customer satisfaction, and operational efficiency.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Monitor applications to ensure smooth operation and address any issues promptly.
  • Manage user access, permissions, and security compliance.
  • Handle incident management by responding to and resolving application-related issues.
  • Collaborate on unit testing, integration testing, and system testing.
  • Deploy and maintain applications to meet required standards.
  • Work closely with cross-functional teams, including business analysts, testers, project managers, and stakeholders.
  • Stay updated on new technologies and industry best practices.
  • Provide technical guidance and support to team members.
  • Contribute to improving system performance and efficiency.
  • Adequate coding standards and best practices are adhered to.
  • Batch processes are managed and overseen to ensure timely completion.
  • Routine maintenance tasks are performed, including updates, patches, and configuration changes.
  • Code is written, tested, and debugged to meet requirements.
  • System enhancements are developed and implemented to address known problems or fulfill user requirements.
  • Documentation related to application operations is maintained and updated.
  • Application support requests are received, logged, and prioritized as needed.
