Job Description:

We are seeking an experienced Credit Specialist to join our team. As a Credit Specialist, you will be responsible for evaluating clients' credit data and financial statements to determine the degree of risk.

Your primary duties will include:

  • Evaluating clients' credit data and financial statements to determine the degree of risk
  • Preparing credit reports in accordance with credit policy
  • Communicating with sales staff to obtain business opportunities and pipeline, giving advice on the credit sales models and credit proposals
  • Conducting on-site investigation and completing site survey report
  • Participating in credit review conference, following up with the execution of the decision of credit review conference
  • Initiating credit sales contract review process and following up with the contract signing
  • Implementing the risk control measures and collecting the related contracts, certificates, and other documentations
  • Establishing and maintaining the business ledger, documentations ledger, and customers' repayment ledger, monitoring contracts execution and payment collection
  • Carrying out overdue payment collection, initiating equipment repossession process, and applying for lawsuits if necessary
  • Developing the third-party financial partner channels, and coordinating with the third-party financial partners for financing business referral

Required Skills and Qualifications:

To be successful as a Credit Specialist, you will need:

  • Good verbal and written communication skills in English and Arabic (preferred)
  • Strong interpersonal skills, negotiation, and detail-oriented
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment
  • At least 4+ years' experience in relevant field within Oman
  • Bachelor's degree (preferably Master's Degree) in Finance
  • English language (required)
  • Arabic Language (added advantage)
  • Oman Experience (required)
  • Driving license (required)
