Job Description

The role of Credit Administration Manager is crucial in ensuring effective credit administration through oversight of Credit Review and Credit Operations for loans. The position focuses on operational accuracy, compliance, timely loan disbursement, and risk control.

Key Responsibilities
  • Oversee Credit Review: ensure accuracy of loan files, documentation, and compliance with lending policies.
  • Lead Credit Operations: manage collateral documentation, loan booking, disbursements, and servicing.
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, internal audit, and risk controls.
  • Guarantee operational accuracy and timely processing of loan applications.
  • Provide management reports to relevant stakeholders.
  • Identify process improvements and support digitalization initiatives.
  • Offer guidance to staff on resolving operational bottlenecks.
  • Develop and execute integrated strategies for Credit Review and Credit Operations.
  • Evaluate credit portfolios, validate risk ratings, and ensure compliance.
  • Implement effective control procedures for Credit Review and Operations.
Requirements and Qualifications

Applicants should possess a Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related business field. A Master's degree in a business-related field is desired.

  • 8 -10 years' experience in Retail Banking Credit Administration, with at least 5 years in supervisory/leadership roles.
  • Strong knowledge of regulations including the ones of the Central Bank of Oman (CBO), Municipality, Ministry of Housing, and other relevant authorities.
