Bachelor's degree in Electrical, Electronics/Communications Engineering is required for this role.

Job Responsibilities
  • Collaborate with senior engineers to ensure seamless daily network operations and projects.
  • Oversee all communication systems infrastructure in the field, including VSAT, switches, routers, wireless LAN, telephone systems, Wi-Fi access points, radios, and Thuraya units.
  • Administer and support network backbone and edge switches.
  • Maintain strong relationships with Internet Service Providers (ISPs) through effective coordination efforts.
  • Manage administrative tasks such as purchase orders, inventory control, and equipment disposal.
  • Diagnose hardware and software issues using appropriate tools and diagnostic techniques.
  • Ensure accurate logging and tracking of user problems using established IT ticketing systems.
  • Test and install new equipment as needed.
Requirements and Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical, Electronics/Communications Engineering or a minimum of 4 years of experience in telecommunications and networking.
  • Proficiency in Cisco technical courses such as CCNA, Redline, or similar.
  • Minimum 3 years of related experience in Oil and Gas Companies.
  • Knowledge of TCP/IP, networking technologies, routing and switching protocols, Cisco Call Manager, and Cisco wireless controller.
  • Hands-on experience with Cisco routers, switches, Access Points, and IP Phones.
  • Ability to work overtime and overnight shifts as required.
