As part of our Special Project team, we are looking for Special Projects Sr Specialist. This role will require you to support the security entity.

Key accountabilities and decision ownership:

• Wireless Technologies: Basic understanding of GSM, LTE, and 5G to support network performance.
• Mobile Core Network: Familiar with core network elements (MSCs, HLRs, VLRs, EPC) to assist in voice, data, and messaging services.
• Fiber Optic Network: Support in fiber optic network design, deployment, and equipment installation.
• Service Provisioning & Support: Assist with service activation, upgrades, and troubleshooting to ensure connectivity
• IP Network Configuration: Help with configuring routers, switches, and firewalls for IP-based networks
• Regulatory Support: Assist in liaising with government entities for network change approvals.
• Collaboration: Work with business units and provide support on network tasks.
• Time Management: Handle deliverables and manage tasks under pressure.
• Communication: Develop skills to communicate with technology and business teams.
• Team Support: Assist engineering teams in planning releases and prioritizing tasks.

Key Job indicators:

• Reporting & Documentation: Assist in creating and maintaining operational reports for Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) and monthly metrics with guidance.
• 24/7 Support: Support authorities during emergencies, ensuring quick response with supervision.
• Technical Assistance: Provide basic technical advice to the authority sector, learning from senior colleagues.
• Investigation Support: Assist in investigations required by authorities, under supervision.
• Confidentiality Awareness: Support maintaining confidentiality and help identify any breaches, learning best practices.

Must have technical / professional qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in engineering, Information Technology or related subject.
• At least 3 years relevant experience in similar role.
