Senior Environmental Health and Safety Specialist

We are seeking a highly experienced Health, Safety, Security and Environmental (HSSE) professional to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in HSSE management and be able to lead by example in promoting a culture of safety, security, and environmental stewardship within the organization.
Key Responsibilities:- Adopt all HSE requirements within the project and ensure they are fully documented in project HSSE Management Plans.
- Oversight of all practices and operations for the Health, Safety, Security & Environmental functions within the project, covering the engineering, construction, and commissioning stages.
- Establish project risk registers and manage them through structured HEMP processes.
- Monitor the HSSE performance of the project's EPC Contractor and apply their own HSSE MS/HSSE Plan requirements.
- Promote and develop a strong safety culture oriented towards continuous improvement and reinforce HSSE leadership from key staff.
- Evaluate compliance with Omani, HSSE standards, regulations, and laws.
- Degree in Occupational Health and Safety, Environmental Science or related field.
- Minimum 5 years' experience in HSSE management, preferably in the oil and gas industry.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Able to work effectively in a multicultural environment.
