**Sous Chef Job Description**

  • This role involves working closely with the Chef de Cuisine to create dishes and suggest ideas for promotional events.
  • The Sous Chef will be responsible for ensuring plating guides are up-to-date and distributed appropriately.
  • They must ensure that all plating guides are followed according to set dish description, cooking method, and presentation image.

**Responsibilities:**

  • Working collaboratively with the Chef de Cuisine to develop new menu items and concepts.
  • Ensuring the highest standards of food quality and presentation.
  • Maintaining a clean and organized kitchen environment.
  • Supervising and mentoring junior chefs to achieve their full potential.
  • Developing and implementing cost-saving initiatives without compromising on quality.

**Key Skills and Qualifications:**

  • Proven experience as a Sous Chef in a high-end restaurant or hotel.
  • Degree in Culinary Arts or related field.
  • Strong knowledge of international cuisine and cooking techniques.
  • Excellent leadership and communication skills.
