The role of Cost Consultant requires a professional to manage cost deliverables for a major mixed-use development project in Oman.

Key Responsibilities

You will be responsible for:

  1. Developing and maintaining accurate cost databases.
  2. Conducting market research and analysis.
  3. Ensuring delivery and performance based on Mace's value-driven approach.
  4. Measuring quantities for cost models, plans, estimates, and bills accurately.
  5. Preparing cost models and benchmarks using digital and traditional methods.

Candidate Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  1. Experience in the Middle East region.
  2. MRICS or relevant professional membership.
  3. A degree in quantity surveying or cost management.
  4. Leadership and management experience with large, diverse teams.
  5. Awareness of carbon and sustainability impacts on projects.
  6. Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
