Chef De Cuisine Role

As a key member of our culinary team, we are seeking a talented and experienced Chef De Cuisine to lead the efficient operation of our kitchen department.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Continually rejuvenating the culinary experience for our guests.
  • Assessing menus and wine lists to remain relevant and aligned with our brand standards.
  • Establishing purchasing practices that meet our nutrition and sustainability requirements.
  • Instilling a cost-focused philosophy through training and education.
  • Ensuring compliance with legal, statutory, financial, safety, and security requirements.
Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you must have:

  • A high school diploma or equivalent and at least 5 years of kitchen experience in a full-service outlet or similar setting.
  • Knowledge of broiler equipment, meat and fish cookery, proficient knife skills, and understanding of farm-to-table concepts.
  • Alcohol awareness certification and/or food service permit or valid health/food handler card as required by local regulations.
  • Excellent command of written and spoken English, with the ability to live in remote locations for extended periods and travel on single status.
