Job Title: Executive Leader

The Executive Leader will be responsible for overseeing the entire Corporate Department, focusing on growing business in finance, deposits, and income from corporate/SME target markets. This role involves enhancing product lines to achieve competitive positioning.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement a national finance corporate and SME business strategy with the head of retail.
  • Ensure revenue potential is realized in a cost-effective manner and the corporate/SME portfolio aligns with the company's strategic objectives.
  • Liaise with unit heads and relationship managers, providing leadership in areas of expertise.
  • Provide effective coaching, training, and communication to support company targets.
  • Manage customer relationships for retention and satisfaction.
  • Implement market best practices across all department activities to promote efficiencies.
  • Offer value-added corporate products and services to existing and new customers.
  • Enhance and maintain relationships with existing corporate/SME customers and build new ones.
  • Manage and monitor the corporate/SME portfolio by risk, segment, product, and other parameters.
  • Regularly review the corporate/SME portfolio.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures, recommending necessary modifications.
  • Navigate to improve the company's presence and reputation.
  • Lead an understanding of the external & internal environment and capture it in the business planning process.
  • Build key relationships with external partners, addressing any problems or escalations.
  • Inform the general manager - business of significant corporate/SME issues affecting business goals.
  • Provide timely information to auditors and the compliance function as needed.
  • Hold regular meetings with direct reports, assessing performance and departmental overall performance.
  • Address staff grievances or conflicts promptly.
  • Identify areas for professional development and provide adequate training to branch staff.
  • Perform ad hoc duties assigned by the line manager from time to time.
