Job Overview:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Health, Safety, Security, and Environmental (HSSE) professional to join our team in Muscat, Oman.

The successful candidate will be responsible for implementing and maintaining HSSE policies and procedures at project sites in Oman.

  • A strong background in HSSE management is required.
  • Excellent leadership skills and the ability to promote a positive safety culture are essential.
Main Responsibilities:
  • Develop and Implement HSSE Policies
    Develop and implement HSSE policies and procedures in line with local regulations and company standards.
  • Conduct Site Inspections and Audits
    Conduct regular site inspections and audits to identify potential hazards and ensure compliance with HSSE requirements.
  • Provide Training and Support
    Provide HSSE training and support to project teams and subcontractors.
  • Investigate Incidents and Develop Corrective Actions
    Investigate incidents and near misses, and develop corrective actions to prevent future occurrences.
  • Monitor and Report on HSSE Performance
    Monitor and report on HSSE performance, including leading and lagging indicators.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or a Related Field
  • Minimum of 10-15 Years of Experience in HSSE Management
  • Strong Knowledge of Local HSSE Regulations and International Standards
  • Excellent Communication and Interpersonal Skills
  • Proven Leadership and Team Management Abilities
