Restaurant Operations Manager

This role involves overseeing the daily activities of a restaurant to ensure smooth operation and meet business objectives.

  • Maintain consistency in atmosphere, signature drinks, and culinary offerings to uphold international brand standards.
  • Prepare monthly reports covering financial and product issues, and implement corrective actions as needed.
  • Analyze departmental costs to meet budget targets and optimize efficiency.
  • Manage staffing costs through efficient scheduling compliant with legal requirements.
  • Assist in preparing and monitoring the departmental annual budget.
  • Oversee the implementation of standards as per departmental manuals.
  • Ensure adherence to opening, closing, and billing procedures.
  • Conduct shift briefings to inform staff of VIPs, special occasions, and upselling opportunities.
  • Motivate staff to deliver excellent service.
  • Share guest feedback with the culinary and management teams.
  • Develop and execute promotions calendars for F&B.
  • Participate in departmental meetings.

Requirements:

  • At least 3 years of experience as a Restaurant Manager in a 4- or 5-star hotel.
  • Excellent knowledge of beverages, including alcohol.
  • Fluent in English (speaking, reading, and writing); Arabic is a plus.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and Micros operating systems.
  • Strong customer service skills.
