Restaurant Operations Manager

This position oversees the day-to-day activities of a restaurant, ensuring seamless service delivery and adherence to quality standards. The successful candidate will manage all aspects of restaurant operations, including staff supervision, customer relations, and inventory management.


Key Responsibilities:

  1. Maintaining high standards of cleanliness and hygiene throughout the restaurant.
  2. Preparing and presenting financial reports to senior management.
  3. Controlling departmental costs by implementing efficient procedures and monitoring expenses.
  4. Managing staffing levels and schedules to meet business needs.
  5. Collaborating with the Director of Food & Beverage to develop and implement effective business strategies.
  6. Overseeing restaurant services, including opening and closing procedures, shift briefings, and VIP guest handling.
  7. Motivating staff to deliver exceptional customer service at all times.
  8. Coordinating with the Chef and Food & Beverage Manager to ensure consistency in menu offerings and food quality.

Requirements:
  • At least 3 years of experience as a Restaurant Manager in a 4- or 5-star hotel setting.
  • Excellent knowledge of beverages, including spirits and mixers.
  • Fluent in English (spoken, read, written); Arabic is an advantage.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and Micros operating systems.
  • Strong customer service skills, with a focus on creating memorable experiences.
