A key responsibility of a Database Developer is to design and implement database systems that meet organizational needs.

Key Responsibilities

The Database Developer's duties include designing database systems, analyzing data, implementing algorithms, and writing code for logic developed through flowcharts.

  • Database designers must collect data, analyze it, and develop algorithms to draw flowcharts.
  • They must then implement code for the logic developed through the flowcharts.
  • Testers must run performance testing procedures to ensure databases operate correctly and are free from errors.
  • Developers must create documentation about the system and put together an operational manual.

Database Developers collaborate with front-end development teams to integrate modules and test for errors.

Requirements
  • Oracle and MS SQL Database knowledge and experience.
  • Query language proficiency.
  • .NET Visual Studio experience (VB.NET and C#).
  • Strong Object Oriented Programming skills.
  • Excellent English communication skills.
