Job Title: Database Systems Specialist I

About the Role

We are seeking a skilled and experienced database developer to join our project delivery systems team. As a key member, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and troubleshooting computer databases that can process large amounts of information and ensure data security.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in database development, with experience in Oracle and MS SQL Database, .NET Visual Studio (VB.NET and C#), and a good grasp of object-oriented programming principles.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design Database Systems: Analyze organizational needs and produce effective database systems according to specifications, including collecting data, analyzing algorithms, drawing flowcharts, and implementing code.
  • Test Databases: Run performance testing procedures to ensure proper operations, troubleshoot errors, create test reports, and improve database functionality.
  • Develop Database Documentation: Write documentation about the system and create an operational manual, including changes or improvements as they are implemented.

You will work closely with our front-end development team to integrate databases and modules together, ensuring seamless collaboration and high-quality results.

Mandatory Requirements
  • Knowledge and experience of Oracle and MS SQL Database, good grasp of query languages.
  • Knowledge and experience in .NET Visual Studio (VB.NET and C#).
  • Good grasp of object-oriented programming principles.
  • Excellent communication skills.
