Job Description:

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Animal Care Specialist to join our team.

  • To assist veterinarians during examinations and medical procedures, ensuring the comfort and safety of animals.
  • To administer medications and vaccinations as prescribed, demonstrating a strong understanding of dosages and animal care protocols.
  • To monitor animal patients during recovery, recognizing signs of distress and communicating effectively with the veterinary team.
Required Skills and Qualifications:

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A high school diploma or equivalent; further education in veterinary technology is a plus.
  • Experience in a veterinary clinic or animal-related field preferred, showcasing hands-on knowledge.
  • Certification as a Veterinary Assistant (CVA, AVA) is highly desirable, reflecting commitment to the profession.
