Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Network Infrastructure Engineer to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for designing and implementing complete plans for new primary and secondary fixed network infrastructure, including copper and fiber-optic cables.

This role involves issuing work orders to contractors, supervising the implementation stage, conducting site surveys for OSP network protection, and ensuring the preservation of existing networks.

In addition, the Engineer will be responsible for patrolling to protect copper and fiber-optic cables from damage, raising reports for damaged cables to relevant authorities, and managing end-to-end projects to ensure timely completion within schedule and budget.

Main Responsibilities
  • Design network infrastructure for copper and fiber-optic cables, including backbone, 5G sites, LTE, access protection, P2P, microwave to FOC, FTTH, and OLT.
  • Update all designs in GCOMM for all projects.
  • Analyze data and develop initial plans.
  • Prepare strategic plans and obtain approvals.
  • Conduct quarterly analysis and prepare requirements for the upcoming year and future plans.
  • Maintain contractual commitments and obligations.
  • Review excavation permits issued by the OSP team and provide comments.
  • Conduct surveys and supervise work by internal and external contractors.
About You

To succeed in this role, you will need strong analytical skills, excellent communication abilities, and a proven track record in network infrastructure design and implementation.

You should have experience with designing and developing network infrastructure, including copper and fiber-optic cables, and be able to analyze complex data sets to identify trends and areas for improvement.

A bachelor's degree in a related field, such as computer science or engineering, is preferred, along with relevant industry certifications.
