
Global Facilities Operations Director

This is a critical leadership role responsible for overseeing the company's facilities management operations globally. The successful candidate will be instrumental in developing and implementing strategic plans to optimize facility utilization, reduce costs, and improve operational efficiency.
The Global Facilities Operations Director will lead a team of senior facilities managers, facilities managers, and FM representatives, fostering a culture of excellence, collaboration, and innovation. They will establish and maintain strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders, ensuring effective communication and stakeholder engagement.
The key responsibilities of this role include:
- Developing and implementing long-term strategic plans to drive business growth and improvement
- Managing facilities system upgrades, ensuring all upgrades are vetted and approved
- Facilitating risk-based facilities indexing and reporting to senior leadership
- Performing systematic research and analysis to inform annual planning, risk mitigation, and strategic facilities management
- Planning and executing integrated facilities management for a portfolio of 65+ facilities
- Ensuring multi-regional contracts implementation and management for all Facilities
- Developing and executing standardized processes and streamlining operations, facilities standards, and benchmarks
Requirements
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- Bachelor's degree in engineering or related field
- MBA or MSC in engineering (desired)
- IFMA certification (required)
- Minimum 10-12 years' experience in facilities management or project management for large networks of infrastructure
- Strong technical knowledge and analytical skills
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and project management skills
