Responsibilities:

  1. Communicate effectively with guests, suppliers, and colleagues in a friendly, professional manner.
  2. Provide information on hotel facilities and services.
  3. Maintain awareness of all matters affecting work, service, or reputation and keep supervisors informed.
  4. Present a clean and tidy appearance according to hotel grooming standards.
  5. Show flexibility and adaptability in job responsibilities, work area, and roster to meet business needs.
  6. Be understanding, supportive, and helpful to guests, suppliers, and colleagues.
  7. Care for the environment and maintain a tidy workspace.
  8. Ensure reliability and punctuality at work.
  9. Know emergency procedures such as bomb threats, floods, fires, etc.
  10. Understand the Employee Handbook and comply with its standards.
  11. Carry out reasonable instructions from supervisors.
  12. Report incidents, accidents, and guest complaints during briefings.
  13. Complete Training Certification Process and review department safety information (JHA's and MSDS's).
  14. Practice emergency procedures in compliance with hotel company standards.
  15. Assist in hotel emergencies if necessary.
  16. Participate in problem-solving teams during core meetings.

Technical Skills:

">
  • Familiarize yourself with resort design and layout and understand operating procedures related to it.
  • Install, repair, and maintain machinery and equipment such as motors, engines, pumps, conveyors, belts, fans, and laundry processing units.
  • Perform tasks like rebuilding valves, mechanical welding, brazing, and fabrication, replacing worn parts, and accomplishing major repairs to laundry equipment.
  • Examine operational control and pneumatic systems to diagnose problems using inspection, testing, and monitoring techniques and safe use of tools.
  • Operate equipment safely and troubleshoot steam and chilled water heat transfer systems.
  • Inspect, test, and perform corrective and preventive maintenance of electrical equipment, lighting, signal, communication, and power circuits.
  • Isolate defects in wiring, switches, motors, and other electrical equipment using testing instruments.
  • Replace faulty switches, sockets, and other elements of electrical systems, including fabricating electrical control panels.
  • Dismantle electrical machinery and replace defective electrical or mechanical parts.
  • Establish good working relationships with technical and maintenance personnel.
  • Perform routine administrative duties and provide solutions to problems.
  • Support special project assignments and report any unusual findings or safety hazards.

Requirements:

  • Strong technical skills and knowledge of laundry equipment maintenance.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Flexibility and adaptability in a fast-paced environment.
  • Prior experience in a similar role is preferred but not required.
