The role of Operations Coordinator in our Shipping Department is available for candidates who want to work with us.

Job Responsibilities
  • We require the timely management of services and supplies to vessels as required by owners.
  • Candidates must coordinate effectively with port operations staff to ensure smooth delivery of services and handling of vessel operations.
  • Effective communication with principals is necessary, along with providing timely and accurate reports to assist in future voyage planning.
  • Ship files must be organized methodically, and all records must be up-to-date for easy reference.
  • Port call data must be input accurately and promptly into the GAC agent shipping system to ensure real-time information.
  • Candidates are expected to uphold the GAC Code of Ethics and display GAC Spirit in their work.
  • Perform any other duties requested or delegated by the manager to maintain service levels.
Required Skills and Qualifications
  • A minimum of 1-2 years' qualified experience in shipping operations or a similar function.
  • A Diploma or Bachelor's degree is required.
  • Knowledge of Oman's customs rules and regulations is essential.
  • Candidates must possess good English communication skills – both written and verbal.
  • Basic knowledge of computing software, especially MS Office & Outlook, is required.
  • Good work ethic and ability to comply with company policies and procedures are necessary.
  • Cultural awareness for working with people from various cultures and backgrounds is essential.
  • An Omani driving license will be considered an advantage.
