Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Finance Accounting Manager to oversee all finance, treasury, accounting and credit control activities across the MEA region.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage financial processes including fund management, working capital management and exposure on guarantees.
  • Meet with banks and insurance agents on a regular basis to ensure effective relationships.
  • Forecast cash flows, implement corporate financial policies and procedures, and handle insurance claims.
  • Assist in monthly performance reviews of all contracts against budget and analyze variances to senior management.
  • Participate in planning financial operations and prepare presentations for monthly management meetings.
Accounting Responsibilities:
  • Implement corporate accounting manual policies and procedures, authorization grids and compliance with Jsox and IFRS guidelines.
  • Submit and adhere to corporate accounting credit control reporting and meet deadlines.
  • Oversee regular income tax and withholding tax for affiliates and VAT implementation.
  • Supervise and review monthly accounts, bank and inter company reconciliations, and day-to-day supervision of accounting tasks.
Credit Control Responsibilities:
  • Implement corporate credit control policies, procedure and guidelines, and manage debtors.
  • Deal with credit insurance companies to secure limits on customers and provide excellent commercial sense and interest in business.

Requirements:

To be successful in this role, you will need a minimum 8 years relevant experience in financial and management accounting, particularly in the construction industry in UAE or the Middle East region.

5 years industry experience, at least 3 years team leading role and accounting software SAP knowledge preferred.

Excellent communication skills, ability to interact and maintain good working relationships with individuals of varying social and cultural backgrounds.

Excellent commercial sense and interest in business, familiarity with IFRS, GAAP and SOX advantageous.

Working experience on Letter Of Credits, related clauses, trade finance and multi currency handling.

Working knowledge on legal framework, meet lawyers and represent the case, trading, manufacturing and service related accounting knowledge preferred.

Graduate or post graduate in accounting and additional finance and accounting certificates will be an advantage (CA/CPA).

Skills: Excellent MS office Skills (Advance Excel, Word and Power point), Excel Level 3 knowledge a must (Macros, Pivot Table, Advance Excel formulas).

Communicate efficiently and effectively both verbally and in written English, people management skill, good communication, negotiation and interpersonal skills with Internal/External and Inter/Intra department.

Strong analytical and numerical skills, excellent strategic planning skills and able to interact with all levels.
