
Business Development Assistant

This role involves supporting the sales team in various aspects of their work.
Main responsibilities:
- Maintaining accurate records and reporting to the line manager as needed.
- Managing pending orders/standing orders and ensuring timely completion.
- Generating quotations for customers in absence of Salesperson as required.
- Identifying and resolving delivery issues, stock discrepancies, etc. with the Salesperson involved.
- Communicating delivery updates or alternative product suggestions to customers based on Salesperson guidance.
- Organizing meetings between the sales team and potential clients.
- Maintaining adherence to HACCP & ISO standards.
Essential skills and qualifications:
- Previous experience in sales; background in sales coordination or administration will be viewed favorably.
- Ability to secure a valid work permit/visa for the job location.
- Familiarity with existing customer bases in the job location area.
- Strong organizational, time management, and problem-solving abilities.
- Working knowledge of CRM systems, especially Microsoft Dynamics 365.
- Familiarity with standard software applications such as Microsoft Office (Word, PowerPoint, Excel).
- Excellent written and spoken communication skills.
