Civil Project Quality Assurance Manager

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly experienced and skilled Civil Project Quality Assurance Manager to lead our quality control efforts on large-scale infrastructure projects.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement quality control procedures throughout all phases of civil projects to ensure compliance with specifications.
  • Conduct regular site inspections and audits, providing timely feedback to project teams on quality issues and adherence to standards.
  • Review and approve all quality-related documentation, including inspection and test plans, method statements, and material submittals.
  • Coordinate with subcontractors and suppliers to ensure materials and workmanship meet project specifications and regulatory requirements.
  • Assist in the development of project-specific quality management plans, aligning with company policies and industry best practices.
  • Provide training and mentorship to site QAQC personnel to foster a culture of quality awareness and continuous improvement.
  • Facilitate root cause analysis for non-conformances and implement corrective actions to prevent recurrence.
  • Analyze quality data and prepare comprehensive reports, highlighting trends and areas for improvement to senior management.
  • Interface with clients and stakeholders to manage quality-related concerns, ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or a related field; a master's degree is preferred for advanced roles.
  • Minimum 10 years of relevant QAQC experience in the construction industry, specifically in civil projects.
  • Professional certifications such as ISO 9001 Lead Auditor, Six Sigma, or equivalent are highly desirable.
  • Experience with large-scale infrastructure projects, demonstrating a track record of successful quality management.
  • Fluent in English; proficiency in additional languages is a plus, especially in regions with diverse workforces.
  • Strong knowledge of local building codes, safety regulations, and environmental standards relevant to civil engineering.
  • Proficient in using QAQC software tools and project management applications for documentation and tracking.
  • Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills, with a keen eye for detail and a commitment to excellence.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills to effectively coordinate with teams, clients, and stakeholders.
  • Ability to work in challenging environments, demonstrating resilience and adaptability to changing project demands.
