The Public Policy Coordinator plays a vital role in supporting the Human Resources team and Hotel Management in managing relationships with government bodies, regulatory agencies, and key stakeholders. This position requires monitoring legislative developments, preparing reports, and ensuring regulatory compliance.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Assist in building and maintaining relationships with government officials, policymakers, regulators, and public institutions.
  • Monitor and analyze legislative and regulatory developments affecting the organization and provide timely insights to management.
  • Support the development and implementation of effective government relations strategies and advocacy campaigns.
  • Prepare comprehensive briefing materials, policy summaries, position papers, presentations, and reports.
  • Coordinate and attend high-level meetings, events, and forums involving government stakeholders.
  • Track lobbying activities and maintain accurate documentation for compliance purposes.
  • Draft strategic communications with government agencies and respond to regulatory inquiries in a professional manner.
  • Collaborate with internal departments on government-related matters and provide expert guidance as needed.
  • Maintain detailed records of legislative activities and stakeholder contacts.
  • Conduct thorough research on public policy issues and provide actionable insights to management.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field such as political science, public policy, international relations, or law.
  • 2–4 years of experience in government relations, public affairs, or regulatory compliance.
  • In-depth knowledge of political and regulatory systems, including legislative processes.
  • Excellent research, writing, and analytical skills.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills with ability to build trust with stakeholders.
  • Discretion and diplomacy when handling sensitive information.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and familiarity with CRM or stakeholder management tools.
