Accounting Specialist

The primary responsibility of this role is to ensure the timely and accurate processing of vendor invoices and payments. This involves maintaining accurate records, verifying invoice accuracy, and collaborating with internal departments and external vendors to resolve payment discrepancies.

  • Receives, reviews, and processes vendor invoices and payment requests in accordance with company policies.
  • Verifies the accuracy of invoices, purchase orders, and contracts before payment processing.
  • Ensures timely payment to vendors to maintain good business relationships and avoid late fees.
  • Reconciles accounts payable transactions and resolves discrepancies or issues promptly.
  • Maintains organized records of all accounts payable documentation and files.
  • Assists in month-end closing activities related to accounts payable.
  • Collaborates with other departments to verify receipt of goods and services and approve invoices.
  • Communicates effectively with vendors regarding payment status or issues.
