Construction Quantity Specialist

As a Cost Control Expert, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the financial success of our construction projects. Your responsibilities will include managing budgets, bills of quantities, and cost estimates, as well as evaluating and certifying contractor payments. Your expertise in commercial management, contract administration, and cost control will be invaluable to our team.
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in quantity surveying, civil engineering, or a related discipline. A minimum of 7 years of experience in large infrastructure or port/marine projects is required. Proficiency in cost management software, MS Excel, and MS Project is essential. Fluency in English is necessary, with Arabic being an advantage.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage all aspects of quantity surveying and contract administration.
- Evaluate and certify contractor interim payment applications and final accounts.
- Assist in the preparation and negotiation of contract variations, claims, and change orders.
- Conduct regular cost and commercial reporting, including cash flow forecasts and cost-to-complete analyses.
Skills and Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree in Quantity Surveying, Civil Engineering, or a related discipline.
- Minimum of 7 years of relevant experience, preferably on large infrastructure or port/marine projects.
- Strong knowledge of FIDIC and other standard forms of contract.
- Proficient in cost control, budgeting, and commercial management.
