The Senior Payments Consultant will play a critical role in driving the organization's payments strategy forward. This individual will be responsible for reviewing and maintaining the organization's payments roadmap, managing business analysis and requirements definition, and providing guidance throughout project execution.
Key Requirements:- Extensive banking experience, especially in payments, including customer experience, operations, and end-to-end payment lifecycle.
- Proficiency in requirements gathering, organizing, and defining stories with product owners for development teams.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and research skills, as well as excellent documentation skills for design, stories, and illustrating business requirements between business and technical teams.
This role requires a deep understanding of payment types, including SWIFT, MI Payments, Cross-Border Corridors, and Remittance Management, as well as experience with implementing multiple payments projects with banks, FIs, and PSPs in the MENA region (GCC and Tier 1 banks). A background in software development is preferred, but not required.
