A skilled Biomedical Equipment Technician is essential for the smooth operation of medical equipment in our organization. As part of our team, you will be accountable for providing first-class technical support and customer service to our clients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Complying with all applicable policies and procedures.
Equipment Maintenance and Repair
  • Conducting routine preventive maintenance in line with Health Authority/Quality Control requirements.
  • Ensuring timely maintenance for all equipment.
  • Products installation and training.
  • Organizing pre-installation requirements for instrument delivery.
  • Verifying correct equipment installation to prevent customer issues.
Technical Support
  • Efficient response to breakdown calls.
  • Delivery of spare parts in a timely manner.
Personal Growth and Development
  • Participating in scheduled or required training sessions.
Administrative Support
  • Prompt submission of weekly reports.
  • Supporting the service coordinator in preparing Health Authority/Quality Control documents for new installations.
  • Maintaining accurate databases of instruments.
  • Collaborating with Sales team on technical information and site visits.
  • Sharing relevant sales information with the Sales team.
Reporting Obligations
  • Weekly reporting to Line Manager.
Requirements and Qualifications
  • Education: Diploma in Biomedical Engineering (or equivalent).
  • Experience: 2+ years experience in the biomedical field.
  • Key Skills: Strong communication skills & Good English - Time management skills - Problem-solving skills - Excellent computer skills in Ms. Office – Ability to work under pressure - Customer-centric personality.
  • Additional Details: Candidate will be based in Oman. Valid driving license required.
