QA/QC Inspector / Blasting and Painting Supervisor Job Description

Lead and supervise blasting and painting crews to ensure efficient operations.

  • Assign daily tasks and monitor progress to meet project deadlines.
  • Foster a team-oriented environment and provide coaching and mentorship to team members.
Safety and Compliance Responsibilities
  • Enforce adherence to safety regulations and company policies to promote a safe working environment.
  • Conduct regular safety training sessions and audits to mitigate risks.
  • Investigate any safety incidents and implement corrective actions.
Quality Assurance Duties
  • Ensure that all blasting and painting work is performed to meet industry standards and project specifications.
  • Conduct inspections of work completed and perform quality control checks on surface preparation and coating applications.
Equipment Management
  • Oversee the maintenance, repair, and safe operation of blasting and painting equipment.
  • Ensure all equipment is compliant with safety regulations and operational standards.
Desired Candidate Profile

Experience in Oil and Gas Industry: 5-8 years

Certifications: BGAS - 2/ NACE 2
