Job Description

As a Demand Aggregation Specialist, you will play a pivotal role in improving materials on-time delivery and procurement savings by aggregating demand across various projects, commodities, assets, and directorates.


Key Responsibilities
  • Maintain the highest standards of Health, Safety, and Environment (HSE) compliance, ensuring zero Lost Time Incidents (LTIs) and zero harm to people and the environment.
  • Regularly engage with Integrated Activity Planners in Oil North, Oil South, and Gas Directorates to obtain and update lists of operations and maintenance activities, their owners, and corresponding shutdown/turnaround requirements.
  • Proactively liaise with Operations and Maintenance Leads across different clusters in Oil North, Oil South, and Gas Directorates to identify long lead items required for scheduled maintenance activities.
  • Thoroughly review all requirements for completeness and follow up with Operations and Maintenance/Projects teams where necessary.
  • Validate timelines for material requirement releases in the system, considering lead times, and subsequently follow up with Operations and Maintenance teams to ensure timely release.
  • Manage Work Order (WO), Work Request (WR), Purchase Requisition (PR), and Purchase Order (PO) dates against Lead Authority Figures (LAFs), WO priorities, and materials' lead times to enhance overall material planning.
  • Engage regularly with Integrated Activity Planners to obtain full lists of materials requirements for activities during shutdowns/turnarounds after work pack finalization.
  • Collaborate with Projects Teams in Oil South, Oil North, and Gas Directorates to obtain stock items requirements for projects and map them against lead times.
  • Aggregate demand by summing requirements across Maintenance and Projects for Oil North, Oil South, and Gas Directorates, updating a shared Excel sheet/demand management tool to provide visibility to Buyers/MRPs. Obtain feedback from MRPs/Buyers on demand release in the system as per the aggregated sheet and follow up with Operations & Maintenance/Projects where necessary.

Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Operations Management, Quantity Surveying, Economics, Business, Supply Chain Management, or an equivalent field.
  • Minimum 7 years of international experience in the Oil & Gas Industry or demand management experience in a primary sector industry.
  • Advanced skills in MS-Excel.
  • Proven interpersonal, analytical, and influencing skills.
  • Proficiency in SAP MM & PM Modules.
