Job Summary
We are seeking a highly motivated Office Assistant to join our team in Al Buraymi, Oman. As an Office Assistant, you will play a critical role in ensuring the efficient operation of our office. Your main responsibilities will include managing phone calls and correspondence, maintaining office supplies and equipment, and providing general administrative support to our team.
Main Responsibilities:
- Phone Call Management: Answer and direct phone calls in a professional manner.
- Visitor Service: Greet visitors and direct them to the appropriate person or department.
- Mail Distribution: Sort and distribute incoming mail and prepare outgoing mail for shipment.
- Office Supplies Management: Maintain office supplies inventory by checking stock levels and placing orders when necessary.
- Office Maintenance: Keep the office clean and organized at all times.
- Event Planning: Assist with organizing meetings, events, and travel arrangements.
- Document Preparation: Prepare documents, reports, presentations, and other materials as needed.
- Collaboration: Collaborate with colleagues to ensure efficient workflow within the office.
Requirements:
- Experience: Proven experience as an Office Assistant or in a similar role.
- Communication Skills: Excellent communication skills in English (both written and verbal).
- Software Proficiency: Proficient in Microsoft Office suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
- Organizational Skills: Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask effectively.
- Problem-Solving Skills: Attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
- Work Environment: Ability to work independently as well as in a team environment.
