Job Description:

This is a critical role in managing large engineering, procurement and construction (EPC) projects within the oil & gas sector, focusing on construction management of tanks. The ideal candidate will have strong leadership skills and experience in managing budgets, schedules, and resources effectively.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and manage construction plans, schedules, and resources in coordination with project teams.
  • Lead and supervise construction teams, ensuring safe and efficient execution aligned with project specifications.
  • Enforce health, safety, and environmental standards; conduct audits and manage incident response.
  • Oversee construction quality assurance and ensure compliance with engineering and regulatory standards.
  • Monitor project performance, approve costs, and implement cost-control measures to stay within financial targets.
  • Maintain and track project schedules, addressing delays and providing progress updates to stakeholders.
  • Manage contractors and vendors, ensuring adherence to quality, safety, and contractual obligations.
  • Proactively identify and resolve construction issues; make critical operational decisions to maintain project momentum.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
  • Mechanical Engineering, Construction Management, or related field.
  • Minimum 18+ years in construction management, with at least 10 years in Oil & Gas EPC projects focusing on construction of tanks.
  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to manage large, diverse teams.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and problem-solving skills.
  • Proficiency in construction management software (e.g., Procore, Primavera P6, MS Project).
