Executive Chef Position

We are seeking an experienced and skilled culinary professional to join our dynamic team at a stylish and contemporary hotel in Muscat, Oman.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Assist the Head Chef in managing kitchen operations and maintaining high standards of quality and consistency.
  • Prepare and cook menu items according to recipes and standards set by the culinary team.
  • Maintain a clean and organized workstation, adhering to strict hygiene and safety standards.
  • Communicate effectively with team members and other kitchen sections to ensure smooth service.
  • Report any equipment malfunctions, food shortages, or safety hazards to the Head Chef or Sous Chef.
  • Participate in stock rotation and help maintain inventory for the kitchen.

Requirements:

  • Minimum 2 years of experience in a professional kitchen, preferably as a Chef de Partie.
  • Diploma or certificate in Culinary Arts from a recognized institution.
  • Ability to work flexible shifts, including weekends and holidays.
  • Good organizational and time management skills.
  • Understanding of food safety and sanitation standards.
