About the Role:
This is a unique opportunity to join our esteemed team as a Senior Embedded System Engineer. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing software and system engineering services for OEM and ODM customers.

Our ideal candidate will have exceptional knowledge of Linux and hardware, with experience in bootloader development, such as u-boot. They should also possess strong debugging and resolution abilities, as well as the ability to learn fast to work on cutting-edge technologies.

We are looking for a highly skilled engineer who can represent us with leading OEMs, ODMs, and silicon partners, and deliver the best user experience of Ubuntu on partner hardware for Robotics, Automotive, SmartNIC, Medical device, Industry gateway, and many other products.

Required Skills and Qualifications:
To succeed in this role, you will need:
  • A Bachelor or higher degree in STEM, preferably Computer Science or Electrical Engineering
  • Exceptional academic track record from both high school and university
  • Professional written and spoken English with excellent presentation skills
  • Familiarity with C, Python, and Bash programming languages
  • Familiarity with Linux boot up process and kernel architecture
  • Experience in bootloader development, such as u-boot
  • Linux debugging and resolution abilities
  • Ability to learn fast to work on cutting-edge technologies
