Senior Software Engineer

We are seeking a talented Senior Software Engineer to join our team. As a key member of our Engineering Server Team, you will play a crucial role in maintaining and packaging software for the Ubuntu distribution.

About the Role

The ideal candidate will be passionate about open source software and have experience with evaluating contributions from other engineers to maintain high-quality software standards. You will collaborate proactively within a distributed team and foster a software ecosystem with seamless user experience for all Ubuntu users.

Key Responsibilities
  • Evaluating contributions from other engineers to maintain high-quality software standards
  • Fostering a software ecosystem with seamless user experience for all Ubuntu users
  • Maintaining and packaging software for the Ubuntu distribution
  • Collaborating with other teams in the Ubuntu and Debian communities
What We Are Looking For

We are looking for a highly motivated and skilled individual who is passionate about technology and working with brilliant people. The ideal candidate will have:

  • A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field
  • Experience with packaging software for Linux distributions
  • Strong understanding of software development principles and practices
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills
