Job Title: Cybersecurity Audit Professional

This role supports and leads audits to assess IT security, privacy compliance, and governance. The position advises on and executes the technology audit plan, ensuring alignment with business objectives, focusing on cybersecurity and data protection.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead and contribute to audit assignments as per the annual internal audit plan, focusing on cybersecurity and data protection best practices.
  • Evaluate design and effectiveness of security controls, including access management, encryption, vulnerability management, incident response, and security monitoring.
  • Analyze data privacy governance and controls over personal or sensitive information across systems and processes.
  • Provide security advice on best practices for projects, system implementations, migrations, or major changes.
  • Conduct reviews considering emerging technology threats such as cloud security and AI governance.
  • Assess control effectiveness and provide actionable remediation recommendations.
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and industry best practices in cybersecurity and data protection.
  • Support follow-up reviews on internal audit findings and prepare reports for stakeholders.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field, preferably in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
  • Professional certifications such as CISA, CISSP, CEH, CIPM, CIPP, CISM.
  • Senior Proficient: 8 years of experience.
