Job Purpose

As a Sustainability Strategist, you will play a key role in driving our company's Environmental Social Governance (ESG) strategy and vision. You will work closely with the Head of Sustainability to integrate ESG principles across business units, enhance disclosures, and accelerate progress on climate and sustainability goals.

Main Responsibilities
  1. Develop and implement a comprehensive sustainability roadmap aligned with our company's strategy and Oman Vision 2040.
  2. Establish and monitor ESG Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) and science-based targets, particularly related to emissions, water, energy, and circularity.
  3. Identify and mitigate ESG risks, transition risks, and market shifts to future-proof our business.
Required Skills and Qualifications
  1. Minimum of 8-10 years of experience in ESG/sustainability.
  2. Strong track record in ESG strategy, climate reporting, and energy transition initiatives.
  3. Proven expertise in international reporting frameworks and assurance practices.
  4. Deep knowledge of ESG standards, frameworks, and regulatory developments.
  5. Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, including the use of sustainability modeling and forecasting tools.
Working Conditions

The role requires an office environment, extensive computer screen use, and occasional visits to operational sites. This position may involve local and international travel on an ad-hoc basis.

Education Requirements

A minimum qualification of a bachelor's degree in environmental science, engineering, sustainability, business administration, or a related discipline is required. A master's degree in a relevant field is preferred.

Language Proficiency

Excellent written, read, and spoken English language proficiency is mandatory.
