Job Title: Radiologic Technologist Manager

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Ensure adherence to hospital policies and procedures.
  2. Manage and supervise junior radiography staff.
  3. Collaborate with radiologists in performing special procedures.
  4. Lead CT studies, prioritize patient safety, and coordinate workflow.
  5. Support radiologists in administering IV contrast media.
  6. Communicate effectively with patients and provide necessary instructions.
  7. Prepare and administer oral or rectal contrast as needed.
  8. Document and maintain accurate records of patient studies.
  9. Share findings with referring physicians or radiologists to inform patient care decisions.
  10. Optimize patient flow through the department, allocating resources efficiently.
  11. Develop and train junior staff in their roles and responsibilities.
  12. Conduct X-ray examinations adhering to established protocols.
  13. Participate in scheduling and on-call duties, including holidays.
  14. Carry out additional tasks related to the position, such as documentation and reporting.
  15. Pursue ongoing education and training as directed by the HOD or designated consultant.
  16. Engage in quality improvement initiatives.
  17. Accept further responsibilities assigned by the HOD or administration.
  18. Contribute to hospital-wide quality initiatives and serve on quality committees if chosen.

Work is guided by established policies, principles, and objectives, with primary guidance focused on policy matters.
