Job Title: Financial Operations Specialist

Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled Financial Operations Specialist to oversee and monitor the budget of ongoing projects. The ideal candidate will have sound knowledge of finance and accounting practices, with experience in infrastructure projects (roads/airports/marine etc.) and basic knowledge of ERP systems.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Oversee and monitor project budgets, comparing actual costs with planned costs and analyzing any major deviations.
  • Analyze material costs, manpower costs, plant costs, and other expenses on a day-to-day basis and allocate them correctly to prime activities.
  • Raise red flags and identify major risks discovered based on costs incurred and other financial criteria.
  • Prepare cash flow forecasts under consideration of the expected flow of funds.
  • Verify invoices and claims from suppliers and subcontracts to properly capture and record all project expenditures.
  • Coordinate with procurement to check purchases against budget.
  • Prepare and update CTC (Cost and Time Control) for the project quarterly.
Requirements:
  • Solid understanding of finance and accounting principles.
  • Experience in infrastructure projects (roads/airports/marine etc.).
  • Basic knowledge of ERP systems.
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to work in a multicultural environment.
  • Knowledge of modeling and planning software used in construction (e.g., Primavera) is advantageous.
