Senior Fit-out Project Manager

We are seeking a highly experienced and skilled Senior Fit-out Project Manager to lead and oversee a prestigious fit-out project.

The successful candidate will report directly to the Project Director and be responsible for the overall planning, coordination, and execution of the fit-out work from inception to completion.

This role demands exceptional leadership, technical expertise, and a comprehensive understanding of fit-out processes with a focus on safety, quality, delivery, and cost.

Key Responsibilities
  • Project Leadership and Strategy:
    • Establish project goals, performance indicators, and key milestones, providing clear guidance to the project team.
    • Sets the overall strategic direction for the fit-out project, aligning it with organizational objectives and client vision.
  • Health and Safety Leadership:
    • Enforces and promotes strict adherence to health and safety regulations, creating a culture of safety awareness among project personnel.
    • Ensures that the project site remains hazard-free by implementing safety protocols, conducting safety training, and monitoring compliance.
  • Comprehensive Planning and Execution:
    • Develops detailed project plans encompassing all phases of the fit-out works, ensuring a systematic approach to project delivery.
    • Oversees the execution of the project plan, closely monitoring progress and making timely adjustments to mitigate potential delays or issues.
  • Design and Engineering Coordination:
    • Collaborates closely with designers, architects, and engineers to ensure seamless integration of design elements into the fit-out process.
    • Facilitates interdisciplinary communication and decision-making to maintain design integrity and align with project objectives.
  • Resource Allocation and Management:
    • Allocates project resources effectively, including labor, equipment, materials, and subcontractors, to optimize project efficiency and meet deadlines.
    • Implement resource management strategies to minimize wastage and enhance productivity.
  • Risk Assessment and Mitigation:
    • Identifies and evaluates potential risks associated with the project, developing comprehensive risk assessment strategies to ensure proactive mitigation.
    • Regularly reviews risk factors and implements contingency plans to maintain project progress.
  • Quality Assurance and Compliance:
    • Implements and oversees stringent quality control processes to ensure adherence to established quality standards and specifications.
    • Conducts regular inspections and audits to verify the quality of workmanship and materials.
  • Contract Negotiation and Management:
    • Negotiates contracts with vendors, suppliers, and subcontractors to secure the best terms, pricing, and delivery schedules.
    • Manages contractual relationships, monitors performance, and enforces contract compliance throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Financial Oversight:
    • Monitors project budgets, tracking expenses and costs to ensure adherence to budgetary constraints.
    • Prepares and presents financial reports to stakeholders, highlighting financial performance and potential variances.
  • Client Communication and Satisfaction:
    • Maintains open and transparent communication with the client, providing regular updates on project progress, challenges, and milestones.
    • Addresses client concerns promptly and works collaboratively to ensure their satisfaction throughout the project.
