Internal Audit Manager

We are seeking an experienced Internal Audit Manager to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in auditing and excellent leadership skills.

About the Role:

The Internal Audit Manager will be responsible for leading our internal audit team, planning and executing audits, and reporting on findings. They will also develop and implement audit plans, manage budgets, and supervise staff.

Responsibilities:

  1. Plan and execute audits to assess the effectiveness of our internal controls.
  2. Develop and implement audit plans, including risk assessments and testing procedures.
  3. Manage budgets and resources to ensure efficient use of time and money.
  4. SUPERVISE AND TRAIN STAFF TO ENSURE THEY HAVE THE SKILLS AND KNOWLEDGE REQUIRED TO PERFORM THEIR JOBS EFFECTIVELY.
  5. Communicate with stakeholders, including management and external auditors, to provide updates and insights.
  6. Identify and report on areas for improvement and implement corrective actions.

Requirements:

  1. Strong leadership and management skills, with experience in supervising and developing staff.
  2. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships with stakeholders.
  3. Proven track record of successful audit execution, with experience in planning, executing, and reporting on audits.
  4. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify and analyze complex issues.
  5. Bachelor's degree in accounting or related field, with relevant professional certifications (e.g. CIA).
  6. Minimum 4-6 years of experience in internal auditing, with at least 2 years in a leadership role.
