Job Title: Cybersecurity Assurance Specialist

Description:

Key Responsibilities
  • Security Assessments: Conduct periodic and on-demand security assessments of IT infrastructures, systems, applications, and websites to identify vulnerabilities and provide recommendations for improvement.
  • Red Team Activities: Engage in Red Team activities to test systems and applications, simulating real-world attacks to strengthen our defenses.
  • Incident Logging: Maintain an Incident log Register for all InfoSec-related incidents, tracking them for closure and ensuring timely resolution.
  • Research and Development: Stay up-to-date on the latest information security trends, research emerging threats, and develop strategies to mitigate risks.
  • Liaison Role: Collaborate with team members to implement security controls recommended by vendors and the Information Security team, ensuring seamless integration and effective protection.
  • Supportive Role: Support security incident responses requiring further analysis, providing expert advice and assistance to ensure prompt resolution.
  • Threat Hunting: Conduct threat hunting to identify potential threats within the organization, proactively mitigating risks and protecting our assets.
  • Initiatives and Projects: Participate in information security initiatives and projects as assigned or other duties as required, demonstrating adaptability and a commitment to excellence.
  • Compliance and Regulatory Alignment: Ensure alignment with regulatory and compliance frameworks, maintaining the highest standards of integrity and professionalism.
  • IT Advisory Services: Advise the IT department on staying current with the latest security issues and threats, promoting a culture of security awareness and best practices.
Requirements
  • Educational Background: Degree in Information Security or a related field (e.g. IT).
  • Certifications: Preferred: Professional Information Security Certification or equivalent.
  • Professional Certifications: ITIL v3 (Information Technology Infrastructure Library), CCNA certification, ISO/IEC 27001 Lead Implementer, CEH (Certified Ethical Hacking) certification, ISO 27005 knowledge, and Web Application Penetration Testing expertise.
  • Language Skills: Proficiency in Arabic and English languages.
  • Programming Skills: Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, Java, PHP.
  • Experience: 4-8 years of relevant experience.
Business Acumen
  • Policies and Procedures: Familiarity with the bank's information security policies, processes, and procedures.
  • Regulatory Knowledge: Understanding of information security terms and regulations.
