About the Role

This position requires a deep understanding of application development and project management to create efficient, user-friendly applications that meet business needs. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and implementing solutions that streamline processes and improve productivity across various departments.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Design and develop applications using the latest software technologies to meet specific business requirements.
  2. Collaborate with stakeholders to gather and analyze requirements for application development, ensuring alignment with organizational goals.
  3. Implement best practices in coding and application design to ensure high-quality deliverables.
  4. Conduct thorough testing and debugging of applications to ensure functionality and performance.
  5. Provide ongoing support and maintenance for existing applications, including troubleshooting and resolving issues.
  6. Train and mentor junior developers on application development processes and best practices.
  7. Stay updated with the latest software features and enhancements to leverage in application development.
  8. Document application designs, processes, and user guides for future reference.
  9. Participate in project planning and estimation activities to ensure timely delivery of applications.
  10. Engage with users to gather feedback and continuously improve application usability.

Preferred Candidate:

  1. Proven experience in developing applications using various software platforms.
  2. Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
  3. Excellent communication skills to interact with stakeholders effectively.
  4. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple projects simultaneously.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Proficiency in software development tools and technologies such as Java, HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
  • Experience with RESTful APIs and web services integration.
  • Familiarity with database technologies such as MySQL or PostgreSQL.
  • Understanding of software development lifecycle (SDLC) and agile methodologies.
  • Excellent analytical and troubleshooting skills.
  • Ability to write clean, maintainable code.
  • Strong documentation and technical writing skills.
