Job Overview

This role plays a pivotal part in driving the strategic direction of Information Technology, ensuring that the technology roadmap and key performance indicators are aligned with business objectives.

The successful candidate will be responsible for managing the digital transformation program to meet business goals and national mandates, overseeing project management governance, and promoting best practices.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Develop Strategic Plan: Developing and maintaining the Technology department's strategic plan aligned with the overall company strategy.
  2. Define Key Objectives: Defining key objectives, KPIs, and performance metrics to evaluate success.
  3. Monitor Progress: Monitoring progress and providing insights for strategy adjustments.
  4. Collaborate with Business Units: Collaborating with business units to ensure the technology roadmap supports current and future needs.
  5. Lead Digital Transformation: Leading digital transformation initiatives and ensuring their effective implementation.
  6. Prioritize Digital Initiatives: Identifying and prioritizing digital initiatives that add value and improve efficiency.
  7. Oversee Project Implementation: Overseeing digital project implementation and alignment with transformation goals.
  8. Foster Innovation Culture: Fostering a culture of innovation and agility.
  9. Establish Project Governance: Establishing project management governance frameworks and promoting best practices.
  10. Ensure Proper Execution: Ensuring proper execution, monitoring, and reporting of all technology projects.
  11. Support Project Managers: Supporting project managers for timely and successful delivery.
  12. Develop Prioritization Approach: Developing a prioritization approach and supporting processes, tools, and metrics for digital innovation.
  13. Lead Digital Innovation Environment: Leading a digital innovation environment aligned with organizational objectives.
  14. Design Digital Innovations: Designing, owning, and evaluating digital innovations that leverage data and data science.
  15. Improve Operating Models: Improving digital operating models for operations and service management.
  16. Stay Informed on Emerging Technologies: Staying informed on emerging technologies and trends impacting business operations.
  17. Manage Policy Development: Managing policy development, communication, and implementation within the Digital Innovation Department.
  18. Ensure Compliance: Ensuring compliance with health, safety, and quality standards.
  19. Identify Opportunities for Improvement: Identifying opportunities for continuous improvement, cost reduction, and productivity enhancement.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Data Science, or related fields.
  • Master's Degree is a plus.
  • Certified Digital Transformation Practitioner, with strong knowledge of project management methodologies (e.g., PMP, PRINCE2) and digital technologies.
  • 11 to 13 years of relevant work experience.
