Project Governance and Strategy Leader

This leadership role is responsible for enhancing project management office capabilities and driving high-impact initiative execution by leading efforts, improving governance, and aligning with organizational objectives.

  • Establish and enforce project governance to ensure policy adherence and methodology implementation.
  • Develop project management best practices to enhance project delivery effectiveness.
  • Oversee key project performance, providing strategic guidance to project managers and teams.
  • Collaborate with senior management to align project outcomes with company strategic goals.
  • Facilitate project status reporting and communicate project risks and issues in a timely manner.
  • Conduct in-depth project performance assessments and provide recommendations for improvement opportunities.
  • Mentor project managers and team members to enhance project management capabilities.
  • Organize and lead PMO meetings, workshops, and training sessions.
Qualifications and Skills
  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Project Management, or a related field; Master's degree preferred.
  • 8+ years of project management experience, with at least 3 years in a PMO leadership role.
  • Advanced knowledge of project management methodologies (Agile, Waterfall, etc.) and relevant tools.
  • Exceptional communication, leadership, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Strong analytical skills and data-driven decision-making ability.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously while maintaining high standards.
  • Certifications such as PMP, PgMP, and Agile methodologies are desirable.
