Culinary Leadership Opportunity

We are seeking an experienced and passionate leader to spearhead our culinary team. As a key member, you will be responsible for delivering exceptional dining experiences that align with our brand standards.

The successful candidate will have a deep understanding of sustainability, wellness, and innovative cuisine. You will be expected to lead the kitchen team in continuously rejuvenating the culinary experience and ensuring it remains relevant to our guests' needs.

Responsibilities:

  1. Develop and implement menus and wine lists that meet our brand standards and stay aligned with current trends.
  2. Maintain effective purchasing practices that support our nutrition and sustainability platforms.
  3. Lead training and education initiatives to instill a cost-focused philosophy throughout the department.
  4. Ensure seamless operation of the department, adhering to legal, statutory, financial, and quality standards.
  5. Maintain high standards of food quality and presentation, following LQA guidelines and guest feedback.

Requirements:

  • A minimum of 5 years of kitchen experience in a full-service outlet or similar setting, with a high school diploma or equivalent. A Diploma in Culinary Arts is preferred.
  • Excellent knowledge of broiler equipment, meat and fish cookery, knife skills, and farm-to-table concepts.
  • Alcohol awareness certification and/or food service permit or valid health/food handler card as required by local authorities.
  • Fluency in English, with the ability to live and work in remote locations and travel on single status when required.
