Culinary Excellence Opportunity

As a leader in our culinary team, you will play a key role in driving the success of our restaurant by safeguarding the principles that underpin our brand.

You will work closely with our Executive Chef to oversee the efficient operation of the department, focusing on:

  • Continuously rejuvenating the culinary experience to meet and exceed guest expectations.
  • Evaluating menus and wine lists regularly to ensure alignment with our sustainability and wellness practices.
  • Establishing procurement practices that meet the requirements of our nutrition and sustainability platforms.
  • Fostering a cost-conscious culture through training and education.
  • Ensuring compliance with all relevant laws, regulations, and financial requirements, including documentation, reporting systems, contractual obligations, security and safety protocols, communication standards, product and service standards, host management practices, and budget controls.
  • Maintaining high standards of quality and adhering to LQA standards and guest feedback.

To be successful in this role, you must possess the necessary qualifications, technical skills, and experience in a similar position within luxury hotels, demonstrating:

  • A high school diploma or equivalent and at least 5 years of kitchen experience in a full-service outlet or similar setting. A Diploma in Culinary Arts is preferred.
  • Knowledge of broiler equipment, understanding of meat and fish cookery, proficient knife skills, and familiarity with farm-to-table concepts.
  • Alcohol awareness certification and/or food service permit or valid health/food handler card as required by local or state authorities.
  • Excellent command of written and spoken English, with the ability to live in remote locations for extended periods and travel on single status.
