The role of BIM Specialist – Electrical Design involves developing and managing accurate BIM models for electrical systems in compliance with project standards and LOD specifications.

Collaboration with architects, structural engineers, and MEP consultants is crucial to ensure integrated coordination across disciplines.

Key Responsibilities include:

  • Developing and managing accurate BIM models for electrical systems
  • Collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to ensure integrated coordination
  • Reviewing and interpreting electrical drawings and translating them into detailed, clash-free BIM models
  • Generating construction documentation, schedules, and BOQs from BIM models
  • Supporting project leads in BIM execution planning and compliance with client BIM protocols

Requirements for the position include:

  • 3–4 years of hands-on experience in BIM modeling, with specialization in electrical design
  • Proficient in Autodesk Revit (MEP), Navisworks, and AutoCAD; knowledge of BIM 360 or other CDEs is a plus
  • Understanding of international BIM standards and LOD requirements
  • Strong technical communication skills and ability to work collaboratively with multi-disciplinary teams
  • Must be willing to relocate and work onsite in Muscat, Oman
