Card Scheme Specialist

The Associate Payment System Specialist will be responsible for maintaining and monitoring OmanNet, Payment Gateway/Payment Integrator, and Settlement & Dispute Management System. This includes assisting in the onboarding, testing, and certification process for new entities and ongoing certifications for new products among existing entities.
The successful candidate will also provide adequate support in incident management and reporting, as well as presenting audit/log reports. Additionally, they will address day-to-day issues raised by local banks, PSPs, and GCCNET switches, ensuring nil/minimal disruption to running operations by supporting OmanNet during business and after-business hours.
The ideal candidate will have a strong working knowledge of card payment ecosystems, EMV standards, PCI DSS, ISO 8583, mobile payments, NFC, and payment gateways. They will also possess excellent problem-solving capabilities, outstanding communication, negotiation, and relationship management skills. A Bachelor's degree in information technology/information systems/business administration/E-Business Management is required, along with at least 2 years of experience in card schemes, banks, or payment service providers (PSPs) managing card products.
