Coffee Connoisseur

The ideal candidate for this position will possess excellent customer service skills, be able to work in a fast-paced environment, and have a passion for coffee and tea.

This role involves working with customers, taking orders, preparing and serving hot and cold beverages, operating coffee equipment, handling cash and credit card transactions, maintaining a clean and organized workspace, stocking and replenishing supplies as needed, answering customer questions about menu items and ingredients, and adhering to food safety and sanitation guidelines.

• Greet customers and take orders in a friendly and efficient manner
• Prepare and serve a variety of hot and cold beverages, including coffee, tea, and specialty drinks
• Operate espresso machines, grinders, and other coffee equipment
• Handle customer transactions accurately and efficiently
• Maintain a clean and organized workspace, adhering to high standards of hygiene and cleanliness
• Stock and replenish supplies as needed, ensuring that the workspace remains well-stocked and organized
• Answer customer questions about menu items and ingredients, providing knowledgeable and helpful responses
• Adhere to food safety and sanitation guidelines at all times, prioritizing the health and safety of customers and colleagues

• Prior experience as a Barista or in a similar role is highly desirable
• Excellent customer service skills are essential for success in this position
• The ability to work in a fast-paced environment, remaining calm and composed under pressure
• Knowledge of coffee and tea brewing techniques is necessary for preparing high-quality beverages
• The ability to operate coffee equipment, such as espresso machines and grinders, is essential
• Strong communication skills are necessary for interacting with customers and colleagues
• Able to work a flexible schedule, including weekends and holidays, as required
• A high school diploma or equivalent is required
